Full procedure Hold a horse race or an ulak tournament

A one-day tournament of ulak tartysh, or a race meeting of bayge and at chabysh, held by a club, a village or a sponsor on a field in the ISEZ or at the Irad State Hippodrome, with spectators and prizes.

Equestrian competitions are sanctioned by the National Equestrian Sports Directorate under the Racing Rules of the Irad State Hippodrome and the rules of ulak tartysh of 1953. A tournament on a field needs a field accepted by the Directorate; at the Hippodrome the field, stabling and veterinary clinic are the Directorate's, and league Saturdays, racing evenings and the week of Irad Day are not available. Every horse is admitted by the State Veterinary Inspectorate within 72 hours of the start, an ambulance stands at the field throughout, and the event needs a municipal or district permit on Form CH-31. Betting is legal only on the Directorate's tote; no other bets are taken at the event. The steps for the tote apply only if bets are taken.
