Census of business entities 2026

How to answer the census questionnaire before 30 November.

Guide to this service

The first census of business entities of the ISEZ counts every firm, sole trader, farm and unregistered business, from 15 October to 30 November 2026, under Executive Directive 2026/24. It is carried out by the Territorial Statistics Office. You can answer when the enumerator visits, at an Attelkom service point, or on e-Irad from 1 to 30 November.

Who can apply

  • Every business active in the ISEZ in 2026, registered or not, including market traders, farms and household workshops.
  • Associations, religious bodies and state institutions are not counted in this census.

What to bring

  1. The firm's registration number (as in the Register of Firms, e.g. TL-19-004517), if registered
  2. The number of people working, and the main activity
  3. For the paper questionnaire: form TSO-26

How long it takes

  • The online questionnaire is open from 1 to 30 November 2026, Irad time, in one sitting of up to 40 minutes.
  • The electronic confirmation is checked by the controller within ten working days and is then kept in place of the census slip.
  • Until 30 November 2026 the Register of Firms issues extracts only on presentation of the 2026 census slip.

Where to go

  • Enumerators carry a Territorial Statistics Office card with a photograph and never ask for payment.
  • Attelkom service points: on the terminal, with the help of the staff.

Common reasons for refusal or return

  • The registration number is not on the Register as at 1 October 2026.
  • The questionnaire was already received from the enumerator.
  • Shares of activity do not add up to 100.

Forms for this service

Print on A4 paper and complete by hand in block capitals, in black or blue ink. Forms printed from e-Irad are accepted at every counter.

Confidentiality

Answers are used for statistics only and are not passed to tax inspectors. Taking part does not register a business, and registering does not replace the questionnaire.
