Applications are made in person when your queue number is called. Take a number on this page to see your place in the queue and an estimate of the wait.
Who can apply
- Every resident of the ISEZ from the age of 16 receives an identity card. Children under 16 are entered in a parent's card and may be issued a passport on the application of both parents.
- A passport for travel is issued to residents who hold an identity card or are applying for one at the same visit.
- Foreign nationals with a residence permit apply for a residence card, at the Talas City and Nurzhan City offices only.
- Residents of the tribal regions travelling to the ISEZ on a clan council permit are not issued ISEZ documents on that permit; see Crossing the Qara-Chik line.
